The ICE-Italian Trade Promotion Agency is the government organization which promotes the internationalization of the Italian companies, in line with the strategies of the Ministry for Economic Development. ICE provides information, support and advice to Italian and foreign companies.

The scope of AKBN is developing and monitoring the rational exploitation of natural resources in the sectors of mining, hydrocarbons and hydropower. It prepares the documentation and procedures for issuing permits and authorizations, which will enable hydrocarbon agreements. It monitors the concessionary contracts for hydropower plants.
